Blowing out the cobwebs and Sandi does some flying.

Haven't flown since Thanksgiving so I figured I better get out and fly for a bit. So Sunday afternoon I made a quick run to K34 to get some $3.00 gas and back.

Joe (our illustrious filght instructor) was in town for some vacation, so Sandi tracked him down to do some flying. With all the flying we did this year, Sandi has grown more comfortable with the airplane and its capabilities, so her and Joe explored some stalls, slow flight, steep turns and unusual attitude recovery (rolls). The unusual attitude maneuvers didn't live up to Sandi's expectations. :-)They did several touch and go's as well. She is much more confident now in her ability to handle the -9, which is good... it will be nice to have her do some flying.

Weather permitting, we'll be making a trip to Moline, IL on Friday for a quick Christmas trip with her family and then on to Topeka, KS for Christmas with my family.

Hobbs: 161 hours!
